Built from scratch - a futuristic electric truck crafted for the Indian market, mixing OEM precision with pure engineering grit.
Back in 2022, while working in Pune, I had one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my career - building an N1 category electric truck from scratch. Not a concept, not a simulation but an actual working model.
It started with a simple brief from a vision: Something that's under budget but looks futuristic for Indian market, Sounds easy on paper, right? But as any engineer knows, that’s the kind of sentence that sparks both excitement and sleepless nights.

From Idea to Motion
The project kicked off with deep dives into design feasibility, component sourcing, and performance mapping. A few OEM parts made it into the mix - practicality always wins, but the rest was all ours. Every system, every wire harness, every bracket was designed and built according with a unique perspective.
We weren’t just assembling parts; we were engineering a statement - a futuristic truck built to represent what’s next in the commercial EV space.

The Design That Turned Heads
While most trucks stick to the “box-on-wheels” tradition, we wanted something more… 2025 than 2015. The design had to look futuristic yet functional - smooth edges, and a stance that said, “I’m electric, and I mean business.”
Seeing the final model take shape, roll out, and move under its own power was the kind of thrill that makes every long day worth it.

Lessons Under the Hood
This project wasn’t just about building an EV; it was about understanding the nuances of N1 category design compliance, load management, and real-world EV performance. It pushed us to think beyond drawings and CAD files - into manufacturing realities, wiring complexities, and integration challenges.

Every problem became a lesson, every fix a victory.
Looking Back
That project was more than a milestone - it was proof that innovation isn’t just about fancy labs or endless budgets. Sometimes, it’s about a small team in Pune, a big dream, and a workshop full of determination.
